"Los migrantes que no importan"

This book of newspaper reports by the Salvadoran journalist Oscar Martinez recounts the journey of undocumented migrants each year crossing Mexico to try and reach the United States. This trip, about 4,000 kilometers, is traveled mostly on the back of the freight train known as "The Beast." Kidnappings, murders, rapes and amputations caused by the train wheels are an everyday occurrence on this trip which has caused a humanitarian crisis.

This book is part of "On the Road" with the photo book "On the Road" and the documentary "Mary No Man's Land."
