Happy Together

The relationship between mass tourism and the local population do not always go hand in hand. This project takes place in Zanzibar, an island off the coast of Tanzania where 99% of the population is conservative Muslim.

Zanzibar has become a tourist paradise for many Europeans, thus creating an uncomfortable relationship that makes cultural differences between tourists and locals very clear.
